Great teachers at Maple who really care. Class size is smaller and more teachers were added. The principle has vision and strong leadership at creating a positive environment. My daughter is thriving at this school, growing socially, and enjoys it.

From 2006-2011 both of my children attended Maple Intermediate & i truly wish i had more positive things to say,but the facts are the school lacks on every level you could imagine. The libarary is the only air conditioned room in the entire school building which only provides large industrial fans. The classrooms are extremely over crowded. and honestly the staff is a much bigger disappointment than the conditions of the building..Finding a teacher who actually cares enough about my child to help has not once happened. Both of my children were bullyed and my daughter's bullying situation only continued to escalate as the years went on. This included having to ask the schools police officer for help to end it, and that had to happen repeatedly. This also included trips to the police station during the summer since the principal and teachers didnt want to handle the situation as it was "too late in the year" we've been forced now to hire a tutor to make sure she passes this school year and to bring her up to the same level all the other children are academically.. If at all possible, do everything you can to keep you children OUT of this school district.

Maple Intermediate is a positive environment. Take a walk down the halls, you'll see evidence of creative thought being applied to education on every wall. You'll hear students and staff in thoughtful dialogue and you'll hear occasional giggles too. You'll see caring parents, dedicated staff, and eager students taking responsibilty for learning. Maple is proud to be a part of it's community spirit.

Maple Intermediate School places student education first! Education includes academic, social, and civic knowledge. We believe students become better citizens through becoming well-versed in all aspects of living. We strive to teach it, learn it, and live it.
