I graduated from this school in 2017, absolutely the best culture and positive growth mindset oriented teachers who really helped me succeed. Just graduated from UCI and felt like CCNTH deserved the recognition, they definitely played a key part in getting me to where I proudly am today :)

I want to retire here! Incredible sense of academic excellence, authentic inclusiveness of all students, and project based learning at the highest level.

Great high school. I have had 3 children go through/going through CCNTH. Very hands-on and project/team learning, very little read textbook and take tests. Students learn team work, cooperation, time management, conflict resolution, public speaking, and professional presentation skills. Due to the small class sizes, teachers and students work closely together. CCNTH has great computer science and digital media pathways. Students take dual-enrollment classes instead of AP. I highly recommend this school, especially for students looking to take their education to the next level.

CCNTH is a small, project-based public school within LMUSD. It offers a unique learning environment with relevant, practical, hands-on projects that engage the students and community in interactive ways. The small environment means that over the four years of attendance, your child will get to know every teacher on campus by the time they graduate. The staff really cares about each child and their accomplishments and abilities. The projects teach the kids how to interact with adults in the community and to improve in public speaking, and the lessons stick with them. Our oldest son graduated from CCNTH with almost 40 transferable community college units (from the dual-enrollment and after school classes available), and was accepted into the Cal Poly SLO Software Engineering program (among others). Some review sites don't give CCNTH credit for their dual-enrollment and CTE programs. While AP classes are not offered at CCNTH, the dual-enrollment college classes are a lower-stress alternative and earn college credit without a required AP test at the end. Our youngest son is currently a junior at CCNTH, and had to attend virtually last year due to the pandemic. The teachers and staff did an amazing job at adjusting and keeping the kids learning despite the online format. We're so thankful to have this educational option in our community!
