My child has ADHD and has not been a good experience with most of the staff.

This is my daughters second year and I absolutely Love this school and the teachers especially Ms. Gatliff....she's amazing. Unfortunately my daughter is graduating May 19th and being promoted to Middle School. Thanks to everyone that made a difference in my daughters learning.

What a difference a year has made! After redistricting, Brookside is now rated as the top elementary school in Jessamine County. The teachers work so hard and care so much for the kids that this is truly a great place to be. Brookside's test scores as of the Fall 2014 are now the highest in Jessamine County. The teachers should be very proud of this "Distinguished" rated school.

My child has attended Brookside since the first grade. I have to say I can't wait to be able to get him out of there. There are maybe one or two decent teachers at this school. The rest really should find another career. They do not make the children or parents feel welcome there at all. Even the principal will not return phone calls when you call with a concern. They are just extremely lacking and very behind the times. I do not recommend this school at all.
