There’s hundreds of fights yearly, constant shooting threats, teachers don’t care about mental health, the nurse is horrid, principals only care about the smart and responsible kids and don’t bother working with the ones that need more attention, and the teachers are underpaid and mistreated.

My son is on his second/last year at CMS and I'm so glad he's been there and then at Santa Fe before that. He's small for his age and socially awkward was subjected to bullying in Maize because he stuck out, but here he's had little issues and when there is one staff has been helpful in getting it resolved and supporting him. Education wise no complaints on anything, seems to be a typical middle school, big variety of class options and he's done well.
