    Incompetent and unprofessional administration. Never had bad experiences with a school like we have had at HMS. Principal and superintendent both need removed.

    Ineffective and ignorant administration and teachers. No communication. A couple of teachers are great, but the rest are incompetent.

    Hesston Middle School is top notched! The administration and teachers are great! Every adult cares about each of the students in that building and wants each child to succeed. Do you know that even the cooks know most of the students' names.

    Hesston Middle School has an outstanding team of teachers who focus on providing strong academic and character support for each student in grades 5-8. HMS was named the 2014 Kansas Association of Middle School Administrator's "School of the Year" due to its outstanding academic record and overall culture of learning and high expectations. HMS is committed to helping students learn through technology integration, cooperative learning, a system of academic support, and a focus on responsibility-centered discipline.
