Gray Charter School is a top-tier educational institution that pushes its students to excel academically. It is a perfect choice for those seeking to meet and surpass rigorous academic standards. However, if you are not committed to reinforcing classroom learning at home, Gray may not be the best fit for you. My daughter has been a student at Gray since kindergarten and consistently performs at least two levels above her current grade.

My daughter was accepted about two weeks after school initially started here. The teachers and staff made her feel welcomed and eased her anxiety about joining a new classroom. Since being here, her vocabulary and conversational skills have sky rocketed. She’s in kindergarten so she was able to count and recognize numbers and letters. A few months here and we can’t stop her from reading everything she gets her hands on now. The coursework is advanced enough so she doesn’t get bored, but not too far ahead that it’s imposible for her to do on her own. She’s bonded well with her classmates and teachers. I know she’s only in kindergarten, but this school is very promising. Thank you!

I've already commented about this school last october but i just want to clarify what i mean. This review is for the children that plan on going here or their parents are. SAVE YOURSELF. This school will be a living hell for you. There is so much homework, tests, and projects that i am constantly coming into school tired. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF/CHILDREN FOR THEIR WELL-BEING.

I read earlier reviews and I believe that in recent years the school has plunged. My child is in kindergarten and has over an hour of homework every single day after school, none of which can be completed by himself. I also have 3 other children. I believe this is unhealthy and wrong. Furthermore the teacher is very difficult to communicate with and no one seems to care. I had such high hopes for this school. I am a very involved parent, but my wife and I both feel that this school tries to fail children so easily in the early stages. They force children into a very rigid mold as opposed to building off their strengths. This has been an incredibly discouraging and disappointing experience for our family. I understand that the upper level students score well in standardized tests, but their kindergarten curriculum is in desperate need of reframing, it just is not realistic for children at the first level of schooling. I would encourage family-involved projects instead of daily busywork that will only serve to burn these kids out so early in their education. Kindergarten is a prime time to foster a love of learning for children and their families- not a dreading of overly tedious and frustrating daily homework assignments. The Gray Charter School is not correct in how it’s designed its program for its youngest learners. I hope they read this review and take a second look at this for future generations.

I am satisfied with grays way of teaching just wished they had more parent involvement along with today's latest technology as a class and as a school.
