Please avoid this school at all costs. I love my daughter more than anything, but this school nearly made me lose her. My daughter is 13 years old and has been going to this school for 3 years. Starting from late 7th grade to the start of 8th grade, she comes home crying to me everyday. The teachers here are a mixed bunch, while maybe 2 or 3 teachers do value their students dearly, most of them really do favorite specific students and it shows in their teaching. In addition to this, the entire school and the staff is really just a draining place especially since they're desensitized to all the violent and negative things at the school, whether it be from one of the 2 high schools, or people from other grades. It's not fair that children here are experiencing such heartbreaking and wrenching feelings here at such a young age. Please, I advise you to not bring your child here. It will only destroy them mentally, emotionally and physically.

This is a great school with caring staff and interactive learning. The students enjoy recess and project based learning. This school can improve in having more after school activities and sports.

I am a student of the school. The school is safe and I love the teachers, counselors, and staffs. This school is the best and is like a second home.

This school Has very good technology. Everyone has a laptop to use in every subject class. And this school challenges the students that goes here, and will help there future.

I am one of the students in Ms.131. I love this school so much, i don't even want to leave. Some of the things that I like about this school, is the help, and attention the teacher gives to a student. When you don't understand something, they will help you right away, and they will make sure you understand the concepts. Plus, this school is very,very safe.

My son had always been a delinquent. I am a single parent and I never had much time to teach him to respect. I admit I am an awful mother but after my son got into this school he totally changed. He was making so much progress due to the help of the caring and concerned teachers in this school. I was honestly surprised at how much it'll totally change my son. He now is a mature young adult who is excellent in academics who knows how to respect. I really love this school and love how it affected my son. GO MS 131!!!

Ms. Abadia is an excellent counselor. I am a full time working mom, my husband just passed away last year. I want to be by my daughter's side like many other moms but I can't. Ms. Abadia talks to my daughter and counsels her to look on the bright sides of things. This school is remarkable.

My daughter loves this school. She has become more mature as she enrolls to this school. The teachers would always help her in academics and encourage her to strive for the moon. I love this school what a influence it have been on my daughter

The teachers are a good influence and inspired students to achieve and accomplish. My son had a great and fun time being a student in this school. It's a very safe environment and I trust the principal will do better and make more improvements in the future
