My 7th grader was constantly bullied in school this past year - his grades suffered due to this - when he asked for help it was suggested he go to outside therapy and not counselors. The extra curricula's and PTA effort are geared towards sports and other clubs are lucky to have same staff through the year. Disappointing is not strong enough a word.

Honestly the school is pretty good. It gives kids the education they need and gives above average kids great opportunities to learn more than what they already know. Honestly it’s just the Principle that I don’t like. They set down rules that are kinda dumb if I do say. For example we have assigned seats when we go to lunch and we can’t change them for the rest of the year. They want us to build communication skills but then we sometimes can’t sit near our friends. The teachers are nice and so is most of the security. That’s also my second problem, the security allows kids who they are friends with (mainly the “popular kids”) to get away with breaking the rules such as using your phone during lunch. I think it’s unfair that I’m getting punished for something I didn’t do while other kids get to do what they please because they are friends with security. But overall security is nice and most of the teachers are good.

I just want to point out that I did not go to that school my friend went to the school and this is his story and his experience everything was alright in the first day of school nothing bad really happened but his grades started to go to because the teachers were really that effective on his learning experience they aren't the best teachers when the school year was about to end he got bullied a lot for no reason there were a lot of fights and the security guards didn't really do anything about it. It was nothing bad with the homework but there was just one teacher he says that gave a lot of homework.

I went to this school and now all 3 of my daughters will as well, It has to do a lot with Parent participation and getting involved with PTA and other school activities. My daughter went through a rough patch on the first week of school in the 6th grade, but I quickly touched base with the counselor , ( who happened to be my counselor when I was there 27 years ago) , the Dean & Principal. I was able to express my daughters concerns as well and as mine as a Parent and together we were able to solve the issue quickly, professionally. When it came to the education and academics for my daughter the Administrative team jumped in and helped out. Thank you and I hope this helps any parent thinking twice about not letting their child go to Isaac..... We as Parents need to take responsibility as well and build relationship with our child that way communication is key at home and with school as well. BE INVOLVED IN YOUR CHILD's SCHOOL. I pay a lot in school taxes so I have a right to be there to see and observed my child's education.

The situation that I have experience, I call it the blind signs of discrimination. It truley saddend me to witness the racial comments to me & the administrative at this school are not aware of their work environment guidelines concerning the safety of the children. Parents are able to walk into the school grounds and pick up their children. The security is not well placed throughout the outside grounds.

I find this school to be sub-par. Some teachers are allowed to complain to the students at length rather than teaching. The students are not allowed to bring text books home to review. Spanish teachers would rather kick students out of the classroom and blame problems on the parents. The school counselor is too concerned with defending the teachers rather than listening to parent concerns.
