I am a student in NL currently. It's a good school academically and there are tons of extracurricular activities going on. The staff know what they are doing and so do the coaches. As any other school teams, expect coaches to choose a bit of favoritism because that's what they all do. As for the people, most people are related so expect those people to hang out with each other more and their parents to be involved in everything (most of the time in a good way, not always). Some people are judgemental as this is life but if you're thinking of going to NL, if you're a student, make sure you stick up for people. This school is a mostly good school to be raised in. You can expect to find some good friends here.

I went to NL 2008-2010 and it was one of the worst things I've ever done. You see the great test scores and extracurricular activities and automatically assume its a great school. What you don't hear about is the bullying and exclusion of newer students. I was put down every day and the staff did nothing to help. There was one teacher there that understood, but other than that, nothing. It was hard to make friends because I wasn't dressed in brand name clothing and I wasn't related to anyone. The only reason I will give this school a star is because of Mrs. Jane Devota.
