- Submitted by teacher on April 22, 2014Zion Lutheran strives to educate students in the core academic subjects with God's Word as their foundation. Since our inception in the early 1980s, we have encouraged all students from our congregation and throughout the community to attend our school. The pleasant, home-like atmosphere of a small school like ours is a pleasant surprise in today s world of public education. Our parents are dedicated to their children s education and are greatly appreciative of our Christ-centered approach. Although we are private, our congregation has proven its dedication to Christian education by keeping the cost of tuition low. In fact, for the less than the price of satellite television member families can send a student to our school. Those families who are not members of our church still receive over 60% of their tuition covered by our Lutheran members. We offer several sports seasons against other local Christian schools. Because of our small enrollment, we encourage students to try all of our extracurricular activities. Zion provides a professional education in a home-schooling atmosphere. We would love to have you be a part of the Zion family!
