My kid's had very strong academic stress from this school, teacher just submit tardiness for no reason

I have gone to various functions at this school. Staff is stellar. Teachers superb. Top notch education!

There are some very good teachers at Herricks but is it a sinking ship? It is a concern that the principal, superintendent, assistant superintendent and head of special education will all retire with a year of each other. It is a concern that there have been four math chairs in five years. The chairperson of English retired two years ago making too much major shifting going on in too short a time. The school seem to focus on the best students but not so much on the average ones. The special education setup has been very good and takes care of the autistic children pretty well. Extra help in one subject a day after school but where are the teachers on other days? ++++ Music program is one of the best! ---- They have no marching band. Sports needs some help and the girls basketball coach just quit. Overall a safe school that you can do well at if you work hard.

Great school. although it is a good school, I think that the kids are the ones that make it great. Smart kids make the teachers look like they are doing a better job. The school is great, but the kids are what makes it. Looking for a good school district with wonderful kids..... This is it

Both my children went to this school. One was a top student and the other needed special help because of a learning disability. Both of them did extremely well. So this is a school which caters to students at all levels academically. Both high and low.
