New Leaf is a great school! The staff is very caring and patient. The encouragement and guidance they give have made a positive impact on our daughter and our family.

My son has been attending New Leaf for going on 3 years, and his entire attitude about going to school has changed with the safe, loving and nurturing environment he enjoys there. This school was a god-send for our child, who in public school felt like he was voiceless, misunderstood, not learning, and didn't belong. The sense of school-family that New Leaf offers our children is the most amazing thing about them aside form the wonderful and loving, patient teachers. Some who are worthy of sainthood. All schools should operate this way.

We have two children at New Leaf, both of whom are solid academically. We love that the school teaches to their individual level, whether it is above or below their typical age or grade. There is as much emphasis on social skills and personal development as there is on academics - what a refreshing change. Although our children would succeed in a public school, they are thriving at New Leaf.

A much needed alternative for special needs students. Teachers are motivated to encourage the students grow in their unique learning styles. They do not believe in the one size fits all approach that most schools adhere to. They offer a small individualized approach to learning that is a rare find in this day and age.

New Leaf School for Change has been a blessing to our family in so many ways. Our son, Jordan, has been diagnosed with PPD/NOS on the Autism spectrum and before we found New Leaf, we did not have much hope for the future. The public schools were basically just a day care for him and we found a lack of connection and interest there. When we came to New Leaf, that all changed. Jordan is in the 3rd grade and has been there since the later part of his 1st grade year. He is thriving! He is learning not only academics but how to interact with others and how to succeed in life. He is taught in a manner that meets him where he is and asks him to grow and stretch himself. He is happy and healthy because of the environment and the level of care he receives. The teachers and administration all genuinely care for the children there. The sense of family and cooperation is evident on a daily basis. I have never had one bit of trouble with this school or anyone there. I'm so happy we found New Leaf and for the first time in a long time I have HOPE for Jordan's future!
