This tiny little school does amazingly well. I am very involved and feel like everyone cares for the kids

As far as the staff goes, there are none better. I have a child with special needs and the special needs program at this school is the best that we've experienced. My husband was just recently medically discharged from the military so we've been through a few schools. Common core is taught here. I don't believe it's an effective method to teach, but unfortunately the teachers don't get to choose if they teach that way, so I didn't dock the school for that. Also a wonderful small town school feel, tons of support from not only the staff, but the community. My child looks forward to going to school everyday and enjoying awesome opportunities given to her like the swimming program where she goes every Wednesday to learn swimming basics one on one. This school is amazing and we're very happy we've settled here. Between the programs in place and the caring staff, I believe my little girl is in the best of hands.

Dedicated teachers, but Common Core must go. Teachers must follow a script. Math anxiety would be greatly diminished if the state would realize that implementation is impossible.
