I think the 3/10 rating is pretty accurate. I brought my kids here from 9-10/10 schools, and I DEFINITELY see a huge difference. The school has an insane amount of favoritism, which lowers student morale and can falsely elevate the grades compared to standardized exam scores. The overall college performance of many of the "top students" has been historically fairly mediocre (with rare exceptions). The athletics are very limited, and the team sports are plagued by favoritism, with parents/teachers/coaches/families/school employees of players/students controlling who plays and who doesn't (even the family members of players take STATS, which obviously can effect who gets all conference, all state, etc. awards!). Overall a HUGE disappointment, would NOT recommend unless MAJOR changes were instituted.

I am strongly against bullying. The teachers/coaches/staff are the worst for this behavior. Teachers/ coaches/staff are to discourage our children from this type of behavior which sticks with kids the rest of their lives. Also, I have noticed that if you don't have a certain "last" name" you aren't favored. Favoring is also a type of bullying. Teachers/ coaches/ staff are suppose to be grown educated adults that our kids can look up to and hopefully have fond memories to carry with them throughout their life. What are you teaching our kids with this type of behavior?
