I taught at this school for two years and it is absolutely horrible. There is virtually no administration support. The kids are wonderful, but I could never teach at this school because of how horrendous my interactions with the adults were.

I hate this school. It is terrible and will never succeed. Other schools take 3 high school classes in eighth grade while they only take one. In the high school, the ninth graders take no AP classes while other high schools take 1-3 AP classes. This school is behind on everything. The teachers don't teach.

The true focus of this school is not only 'no child left behind' but, any child can achieve with high standards of excellence if given the right tools. The teachers meet the students from where they are academically, so they learn at a pace that is individualized and comprehensive to their needs. The students are not only taught academics, but they are encouraged to be responsible, kind, collaborative, and innovative. Professional skills are practiced daily, and so many schools don't provide or expect that from their students. This school expects those skills and mandates them because they know everyone needs those for a competitive edge in the business world. I believe my child is being prepared for real-life experiences, and I feel like this is truly the best that Davidson County has to offer.
