We are grateful to Ms. Brazille (3rd grade) for her continuous support to my daughter and Dr. Mile for managing the kids of Crieve Hall Elementary, and kudos for making the school bus services regular—this is excellent. We love the teachers of CHE because they made my kid happy and created the school environment to return after COVID-19. Finally, my daughter appraises much about Ms. Callis, Faith, who teaches her in the Gifted & Talented PreK-8 class. I hope to see her in the Fall.

My son is about to leave Crieve Hall Elementary to move up to 5th grade. I have been very impressed with Dr. Miley (Principal) and his staff, the teachers, and the entire team's dedication to our children. Metro Davidson County Schools have a gem in CHE. Keep it up folks.

Poor, Principle gets rid of staff that are willing to stand up for the kids and what they know the child needs. He does not communicate well with parents. SpEd teachers leave much to be desired.

Very poor experience. The principal has set a hostile tone by keeping parents at arm's length. When we have concerns, he pats us on the heads and sends us on our ways.

Crieve Hall is a great school if your child is not special needs. If they are, you have years of stress and frustration to look forward to. They do not follow the IEP, teachers look to the parents for answer and an academic plan, and the special education department lacks the knowledge to assist a diverse population of special needs. The treat all special needs students all the same, not as individuals. The school also does not have a nurse, so the students medical needs and services are in the hands of the school receptionist.

Poor, children with learning needs are not being cared for like others. IEP's are not followed and then principal acknowledges this even when met with information of how thhis breaks the law. His response was to basically get over it and accept it. This is also his 2nd year as a principal and lacks leadership ability. He struggles with being able to accept help. A large amount of staff left CH after his first year along with complaints to the board of education and teachers board from personnel. I am also told there is a current lawsuit underway because of this principals actions.

Crieve hall has delivered a wonderful experience for my two children. Fantastic teachers and faculty. Mr Miley is an awesome principal, he greets the children every morning with a hug or a hand shake. The music teacher, Ms Shortz has been voted best in MNPS, she always puts together the most amazing performances for each grade level every year. The PTA works hard to bring families together and engage the community. I appreciate the diversity that is within the community, I know my children are getting a well rounded education.

Can't afford Brentwood ? This is your school. Teachers are condescending. I agree with a previous poster about the principal. PTO is certainly engaged and doing everything they can to make it seem like a Williamson county school, they want it to be, but there is zero special about this school. Take any dozen of these teachers and replace them with a dozen from another and nothing would change. Let's be real, scores are based on socio-economics. So attend here for the neighborhood but be aware there are a lot of posers. I think many of these teachers would struggle at certain other elementary schools. btw - my experience that teachers here do 'not' care near as much as other schools. They're at 'this' school for the very point that the ease this type of student provides.

We are so blessed to have a truly wonderful neighborhood school! Crieve Hall Elementary is not just a school, it's a community. It's a family! It nurtures and challenges our students not only academically but also enriches the whole child. The teachers and staff are caring, welcoming, talented, capable, loving, intelligent professionals. Good job MNPS! Crieve Hall is a stand out!

Excellent teachers and wonder families! Crieve Hall Elementary is a great neighborhood school. All 3 of my children have had an excellent experience here. Very caring teachers and great curriculum. Parent involvement is welcomed and encouraged.

Families and neighborhood are nice, it's the only saving grace. The school is average at best. The principal is concerned with PR, individual students are not the concern. Front office staff is either incompetent or intentionally obtuse and obstructionist. Teachers of course are strictly individual and you get the luck of the draw.

Going down hill ? Not impressed with teach or principle. Getting the attention when you're trying to engage so you can help the process and be involved takes some work. The current news/thinking is that parents aren't involved, but if you try to get involved at CH they make you feel like you're in the way and interfering. (we're not talking helicopter) I would just like some regular CLEAR communication so I can be engaged. This is essentially non existent.
