All the other reviews are a load of hooey, when people say that the students are lacking discipline and manners, how is that in any way the schools fault? It is the ignorant parents these days that do not discipline and teach their own kids how to behave in a public place. The discipline system at GGMS is quite strict when it comes to dress code, detentions, and consequences for behavorial issues. As for the teachers, they know what they are doing and they are not there to be the students friends, they are there to teach and help them prepare for high school. The school has been offering programs and opportunities that other schools dont. Haven't you heard? 6 students were awarded scholarships, their debate team has won the finals and are the champions, the basketball and soccer teams also have won the championships, their concert and jazz band recieved superior ratings at the Music Performance Assesment, and last but not least a student there won the Collier County Spelling Bee and is now going to the nationals in Washington D.C! Sure the school has some flaws, but so does every other system in the entire district! This school is great, period.

the school is very desant i think 100 % on your teaching but the kids are are 20 % on there actions but go golden gate middle
