This is no more a "school" thab sending your kids to a friendly neighbors' house that dabbles in art and gardening and such. In that respect, kids and families that have no aptitute or interest in scholarship or success are very much at home.My son was forced there by his mom at a young age and it made a big impression. He's struggled wirh self discipline, and is years behind other kids. I once asked the staff when kids would learn to read at thia school. They said some kids dont even try till they are 12 or older. That isn't helping anyone in life...Giving kids no foundation that understanding their world and cirtical thinking will ehlp them is crazy. This scholl will definitely preapre your kids to live at home wirh the parents taking care of them at 40+ I consider thia plwce to hwve been thr single biggest mistake my sons mom has ever made in the raising of our son. But whatever, we need McDonald's eorkers and babysitters in America. Its just not anything i want for my kid.

Sego Lily School is an amazing community of families, staff and children. We are so lucky to have this model of education available to us in Utah! My own children are thriving and free to pursue their passions and be successful, happy people in life! If you are looking for a school where children are trusted, respected and valued for who they are, this is the place!

Sego Lily is the best "school" in Utah! I went there and I loved it. They let us learn how we want, when we want. No pressure, no drama, and no homework. I learned more about real world stuff then I ever have. I fixed a bike..... that's something I would have never done in what is considered a "normal" school. Sego Lily made a great impression on me.
