    I have 5 kids. Been in a lot of schools over the years. This one is by far the worst. Even worse than So. FL. They should have closed it like they were going to.

    Most of the teachers at Hiwassee Dam School need to work on their communication skills the with parents. They also need to stop acting like they are still attending School themselves instead of being a teacher, grow up and do their jobs. How most of them act toward the students is NOT professional and needs to stop. My tax dollars pay them so they need to start teaching and stop acting petty, since that is what they are being paid to do. If they do not like being a teacher that is their problem, they chose this profession themselves. Perhaps they should spend less time belittling they kids and more time looking for a different form of employment.

    this school is like a family, small enough for learning and large enough for personal relationship with staff..
