My son knew only 3 sight words at the end of the school year, after testing for 11 at the beginning of the year. The regression was due to the poor quality of their system. The test form they use is smaller than newspaper print, which made it hard for my son to read the letters. Now, at a different school, my son is reading at a 3rd grade level in the first grade. My son's current school is night and day better than Riverview.

This is the worse school I have ever experienced. I had to send my children to the city to get a decent education. This teaching staff is below average and have no desire to educate their classes. The are known tell a child "I have given up on you, you will amount to nothing". They act like they are concerned when the parent is watching and treat the children as if they are cattle. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL.
