We are so thankful and happy to have our child at St. Lawrence. The teachers and administration are incredible. They go above and beyond to ensure a community of love, trust, growth, and compassion is created for the students and communication with parents ensures security and confidence for us parents. Principle Frey communicates regularly with families of SLCS and is always available to address the needs of the students and the school. SLCS embraces diversity which is key in a successful education and to build relationships of love rather than judgement. You can come to SLCS without worrying about "where you come from." SLCS invites all children to receive an exceptional education, so it's not about your financial status. It is about giving our children the best no matter what. We love SLCS. It is a gem in the Muncie community and we are so thankful.

This is our first year attending St Lawrence. My daughter is in kindergarten, and she loves it! We have had nothing but a great experience thus far. She can’t wait to go to school every day. The teachers and staff are very caring and compassionate and go above and beyond to make your child feel welcomed. I also love the small class sizes so each child can have more individualized attention and help. The school welcomes all families with open minds and hearts.

The education students receive at this school is top notch. The majority go on to be in honors classes in middle school/high school. Smaller class sizes help each student to receive instruction when needed. JR

The teaching staff at Saint Lawrence does a wonderful job! The students are challenged in their academic work and they are held to a high standard of behavior. The adults at Saint Lawrence help students to learn and grow while treating each child with love and compassion.

I am very pleased with our choice to enroll our son this year. He is a very shy child and due to this, his academic struggles were often times pushed to the side. I am confident that he will receive the individualized attention that all children could benefit from. It is a small school but this allows a much more personal expirence. When you walk in the school, you are greeted warmly on a first name basis. Bullying is not tolerated or looked lightly upon. My son was told by a teacher of a previous school to "stop being a tattle tale" when he tried to inform his teacher of being bullied. A lot of parents don't consider this school as an option due to tuition costs and it being a religion based school. They offer tuition assistance including full scholarships for some and are open to all faiths. Please consider this school for your children if you are ever seeking an alternative to public schooling. We are only a week in, and already I feel this was the best option we could have made for our sons educational future. So happy to be a part of the SLCS family this year. Go Rams!

Muncie's best kept educational secret. An A rated school with an excellent student to teacher ratio. While this is considered a Catholic school, you do not have to be Catholic to attend as my family is not. Parents, teachers, grandparents and alumni are all very active in all events that the school particpates in, leading to tight knit community that provides the best support for the school and the children. Looking for the best possible education for your child, St. Lawrence is the best in town and at a very affordable price. You can even apply to the state for a waiver that will help offset the cost of tuition.

St. Lawrence is a great community. It is more than just a school. We do not attend the church, but we have found a great group of parents who care about the students, school, and the education.

My son has attended St. Lawrence since K. He gets an excellent education as well as learning respect, responsibility, kindness and character. It is a small school where everybody knows everybody else. I love the family atmosphere because teachers, students and parents all support each other. It is an A school and has been for a long time. But it is much more than that!

We enrolled my daughter a few days late into the school year because of issues at her old school, and I'm so glad we made the decision. Her teacher, Mrs. B., is caring and patient and I've been impressed with how much my daughter has learned and grown in a short amount of time. Mr. Frey is a wonderful principal—he takes time to update me about my daughter or tell me something funny she did, whenever he sees me at school. The communication from the school is consistent and I always feel well informed about school activities, special events, and grades.

Saint Lawrence Catholic School is by far the best elementary school in Muncie. My son is currently in Second grade and has learned so much. My daughter is in Kindergarten and loves going to school. The teachers are great and have many years experience. I would highly recommend this school.

I love St Lawrence School.......my daughters enrolled last year and I have seen them grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally. I like how involved the school is with the parents. The teachers and staff are always welcoming. I feel that the teachers truly have a passion for education, fun and faith. Thanks for the opportunity to express my gratitude.

Saint Lawrence is a great school. The principal and teachers are well organized and deliver a well-rounded, rigorous curriculm that includes math, language arts, science, social studies, technology, art, music, physical education and religion. The staff realizes that state standards are a minimum threshold and go beyond that. All students do science fair projects as part of the science curriculum. The after school care program, the food in the cafeteria and the parent-teacher organization are also good. Families are required to volunteer 50 hours a year at school related activities, which is a committment, but this is one of the reasons Saint Lawrence is such a good school. Saint Lawrence also offers a tutoring programs (at no additional charge) for students that need extra help in language arts and/or math -- actually implementing the idea of "no child left behind". The staff is not overly obsessive about test scores, but the staff are focused on a systematic, rigorous education which get results.

This school is amazing. The teachers are very focused and encourage each child to do his best. Their test scores are quite good. The music teacher is very good and they have one of the better music education curriculums in Muncie

This school is absolutely the best private school option in the Muncie area. The classes are small, but diverse. Teacher make excellent use of technology. Each child receives personal attention. My children have absolutely blossomed at this school and I would send them no where else. Also, I feel absolutely safe with my children at the school and I don't worry about them at all during the day.

St. Lawrence is dear to my heart because I attended the school. As a teacher myself, I am impressed by the excellence in academics as well as the emphasis on good character and religious education. St. Lawrence involves parents in the learning process and encourages positive involvement. The staff gives 110% to each and every student. The loving, caring, nurturing environment is exactly what I wanted for my own children, and I have been so happy with my daughter's experience this year!
