It has been one of the biggest dissapoinments ever. I lived here and went to this school for a short time as a child back in the '70s. My Mother taught at this school at that time. Under this new leadership and the current teachers it is a very poorly ran school. The lower elementary teachers are sub par and create a very negative atmosphere for learning.

-community newcomerIn the short time my child has attended this school, she has expressed to me that she really enjoys the challenging curriculum and the friendliness of the other students. The staff is very tight knit and as such, personal accountability and ethical treatment of children as individuals is questionable.

The school district is small and provides individual attention. It has great parent support. Most teachers treat students with respect and work to ensure students reach their highest potential. However; some teachers utilize old school methods and are demeaning of students by having students write demeaning paragraphs or humiliate students in front of their peer group.
