Our 2nd daughter have been going here since Kindergarten and we love the teachers and staff, they really have a good sense of community and support. My other daughter is going next year and we can't wait for her to start. Ms. Cuccio is a Rockstar!

What a real shame ,It seems like Mountainside board of Ed care about regular students ,But not the Special Ed students ,When they finally hired a teacher that cared and loved these children ,She was doing an exceptional job ,she came here with a masters in special Ed and 20 years of working with these types of problems ,The kids loved her, They we’re doing very well and her program was making leaps and bounds with these kids But because of politics They decided to let her go and from what I can see for no other reason ,These kids loved her and would do anything for her But because Special Ed children bring down test scores ,she’s gone Good luck Mrs Lange ! The next school district that gets you should feel privileged. For Mountainside Board of Ed Very big mistake ( Oh and some FYI No Sub Would take this class )

Amazing reordering of administration. New leaders have fostered a wonderful sense of community for our students and neighborhood. We are fortunate to have been offered in person learning since September with a fantastic virtual option. Thank you to all the teachers and administrators!

This school is, like others, struggling with the new common core standards, among other things. This school used to be a very sweet school with excellent teachers; however, with the new curriculum, in depth report cards and building pressures, there is a lot of turnover recently. Seasoned teachers talk about the unreasonable leadership while teachers that are not tenured are too nervous about speaking up. Very sad. Still a good school comparatively, but there is too much change too fast and it is at the expense of the students.
