We’ve been a PGE family for almost 5 years now and I’m very pleased. They work hard teaching the kids compassion, respect and responsibility. Love our teachers! Open communication, innovative techniques, and they work hard to make learning fun. I’m also v Rey impressed with Bullitt Counties drive to push their students to excel. There are some split grade classrooms and pull out programs for gifted and talented. We couldn’t wish for anything better!

This schools rating has dropped in the short amount of time that we have moved to the district. The classrooms have more than the allowed number of students and our child's teacher is admittedly overwhelmed. Our child digressed from the previous year despite our involvement. The upper leadership is not as involved as other schools and the staff motivation seems to be lacking compared to others. I wouldn't know the principal if I saw her. It would no longer be my first choice in elementaries in the district...

We love this school. The teachers, staff and students are usually cheerful, committed, and on task. As a parent, anytime I have ever had a concern, the teacher, principal and counselors have dealt with it respectfully and with the best interest of my child at heart. It seems like when I visit, people really like being there. In my opinion, an elementary school has to focus on the whole child, offer excellent academics, clubs, and fun activities. This school does that. It promotes academic excellence, but also a nurturing, warm environment. The counselor, Mrs. Corbin, is exceptional. Our family has moved A LOT and this is one of the best run elementary schools we've seen.
