My children have flourished at this school after having a negative experience at another school. I highly recommended the MWES district to anyone moving to the area. It’s wonderful.

Worse school ever!!! Kids were exposed to asbestos dust the entire year and a half of their construction. They didnt have the nutrition information for their meals for a year or two. Had to go to board and go through every item in bonder one by one. When new items were added they failed to check the label and fed it to my child with food allergies. Back door was left unlocked by their construction crew, and I walked through entire school at lunch time before anyone knew I was there. I located the principal and informed her that if it had been a terrorist or angry person all the kids lives could have been endangered.. They gossip, and create their own ideas of who people are without actually knowing them. My 1st grader came home crying because they watched a slavery video and my child was terrified that when he grew up, he would become a slave. Its a terrible, terrible school. I've tried to work with them but they are one-sided, and impossible to work with.

Moved to Kentucky a year ago and my daughter has completed kindergarten and has started first grade at MWES. I think the school is fantastic. My daughter loves all the faculty and is excelling at above grade pace. She is always excited to go to school. I find the teachers to be extremely friendly and goal oriented. Mrs. Lewis, the principal, knows all the students by name and is the energizer bunny, working non stop. Highly recommend.

This is a school in my community that I feel needs to be updated, therefore I'd like to give this school the opportunity to create a more up to date learning environment with a newer facility.

I currently have two children at MWES, and we have been so very blessed to have the principal that we do. She is respectful of the kids and their families at all times and treats the children like family. They are always encouraged to do their personal best. We will be moving to new schools in the fall, due to the redistricting going on, and I can only pray that my boys continue to have such a positive experience!
