My son was physical assaulted and nothing ever done. My kid is very smart. Straight A student and this place turned their heads while he was tormented and physically assaulted more than once over a 2 yr time. My son was scared to speak out about because of what the kids would do to him. It's not a Safe place, their standards are about athletic department and that's it. Many drugs and guns getting into this place. Do t send you children here if can avoid it. Board of education needs to do some housekeeping here and get it to be a safer place for ALL THE CHILDREN, not their select few.

If i could i would rate this school a -100000000000000000000000000000000 i hate this school this school sucks everyway i DO NOT reccomend !!!!!!!!!!!! Im going into 8 th grade and when i was a 6th grader there was 4-5 bomb threats and we NEVER evacuated and this year in 7th grade there was 2-3 and we still DIDNT evaxuate there was also 2-3 school shooting threats and one lockdown so police can check the school for vapes and more and a parent brought a gun to school with them and we didnt go on lockdown this school is garbage.

This school sucks. I am currently an 8th grade student and this school has changed my view on school itself. K-5 I was an all A's student. As soon as I stepped foot in this school I knew it was going to be awful. I have been called many slurs including the N-Word, F word (slur for gays), and Q word. I would not recommend sending your children here. If you do, be prepared for them to make many complaints very soon.

This school sucks, I am a current 8th grade student at West view and your kids will hate this school and 7th grade will suck but 8th grade Is a little better but don’t put your kids in this school

I’m a student here and I can say this school is garbage. Just today in 6th my teacher (not going to say who) blocked YouTube for the whole class, no warning or anything. and when they asked why they said it was because of me! I was doing my work just fine and listening to music like I do every day because they can’t keep the class under control so I ignore them by doing that. I felt so embarrassed. For more reasons than that I was on the verge of tears from that. As soon as I was on the bleachers to go home I started crying to my brother. And not to long ago another’s teachers curtain fell on my brothers head, the metal part too and they wouldn’t let him go to the nurse. Before that there was a bomb threat. Now you may think that they’d evacuate us immediately like they told us they would, right? No, they kept us in the gym and didn’t even tell anyone what was going on. There are so many reasons why this school is not safe or friendly in any way. It’s gotten to the point where the only people I can trust fully are my friends, brother, and Miss Gail. This is ridiculous and should not be overlooked like it is. They said they care about our safety and our mental health there but they don’t, at least not as much as they should, I despise coming to this school every day and they wonder why? I still have a whole Nother year here and it makes me so mad. The fact that I was to be somewhere else at every point is just embarrassing for them and almost everyone that works there. If you’re looking for a place to send your kid to, look somewhere else. This school has given me nothing but stress, anxiety, and depression. I have no problem with leaving and that’s on them, not me, not on the choices I make, them and them alone. Have a nice day

West View is a good school with good teachers and learning environment. It is clean and safe. The principal is stern and she is difficult to meet even half way when an issue occurs. The 8th grade advanced math class is overcrowded. The overall learning environment for the past three years has been very good. There are some excellent teachers here who really care. The guidance staff is excellent, too.

im a 6th grader goin to be a seventh grader i love west view so much iam a straight A student and i was afaid that i would no longer be once i went to middle school but i did amazaming thanks to all of the teachers ! love you guyz! i was pretty invovoled i did cheer,volleyball,track,beta,art club,drama club,i played both flute and clarinet in band you can be invovoled and be great @west view teachers students parents nayone who has helped has done a great job and i would like to give them all my great THANKZ! -ily guyz
