The only school that offers children these unique experiences in the Bay Area. The new principal is taking this school to new levels of education.

This school is now a Health & Science Academy. A partnership with the San Jose Tech Museum started this new and new curriculum is being added. There will be a new classroom built over the next few years. The new principal who started in 2017 is a great leader and bringing new ideas, programs and inspiring the teachers. I have been pleased with our experience at El Toro.

I was skeptical with the reviews at first but the new principal is very hands-on and takes pride in every job he does. He's very approachable and he is adding in all the right ingredients to move this school into a top tier.

I've been at El Toro for 6 years. My son is a six grader and it has been a good experience until this school year 2014-2015. I'm dealing with the principal, Mr. Ramsey who is horrible! He only care if you suck up to him. He does not care about the students well being. As long as you suck up to him and praise him, he will be on your side. I can't wait for my son to get out of that school and since 1st grade-5th I have never experienced anything like this. The school have great parents, but it's the principal that make the school look bad.

El Toro Elementary is a great school with a good student population, fabulous teachers. We just need more parents to get involved and volunteer. Do you want to know how to improve API Scores?? Volunteer people. Volunteer in your child's classroom, volunteer at your school's activities, volunteer in the Home & School Club, stop complaining and volunteer!
