August 2024 lost track of small children who attend school here. These 6 year old , 1st graders were left alone in the gym because teacher forgot they went to restroom. The children then wandered around school outside in heat trying to get someone's attention to let them into school.

Teachers are what you'd expect in a small town school, respectful to ones they know stand offish to those not raised here if they don't know you personally. The parking and pickup situation at this school is horrible! My biggest complaint! They'll have kids standing at wrong color and when you stop to pick them up at color they are standing they'll have conniption/act ridiculous and point to different color because they had kids standing at wrong color, but act like you screwed up! I'm extremely ready for this school year to be done! However if they know you they'll walk you're children down to car and you won't have to wait until you arrive at the silly colors.... build bigger school with parking are have a better set up for pick up! I asked teacher not to open my rear car door today because I had pulled to close and I walked around and got my grandson, she proceeded to open the door and say "See I could have opened it without hitting anything" . I asked her not to open that side because last time I was parked that close a teacher hit my door against bars on sidewalk! My car is 8 years old but still my car and I'd like to avoid unnecessary scratches.

Rude staff, poor teaching skills! Racism is alive in this community and needs to be shutdown in Moody, TX ISD
