The teachers and staff are committed to the students' learning and success. The administrative staff is warm and friendly. Great school!

This school has very little compassion toward student difficulties and parent concerns. Don't even attempt to have a conference with teachers and principal because the principal is just going to side with his teachers. They want to treat their school like college and be very hard on students, they won't accommodate by any means. Worst school I have ever had to deal with EVER!

This school is not good. They do not treat the kids right.I agree the punishment they use are ridiculous. They are not interested in the students best welfare. Our kids were making honor roll until we moved here.Something is not right in this school. The teachers don't do what they tell you they will do.I will be glad to get our kids out of here. Our kids come home telling us things and I believe the teachers are bullying them also.

This school is horrible! Not only do they permit bullying by the students but the teachers themselves are bullies. They wrap cardboard boxes around students desks or make students stand in taped squares on the floor all day as punishment! This is awful! You inform the principal and told that they "discussed" the issue. How about silent lunch and no recess?? Welcome to Calera Middle School.

Calera Middle School is a very friendly and welcoming school. It is a growing school and because it is a Title I school, they are able to keep up with the latest technology in the classroom. The classroom sizes at the present time are very good, and the administration is wonderful.
