We have loved this school and have had 2 children to attend. The students have learned a lot, there’s great opportunities for individualized learning. The parent/family engagement is top tier.

Our daughter was sent home with a note saying her hair was to distracting to wear down in class. She is bi-racial and the note was unacceptable. We also had a meeting with the officer at school because attendance was not being communicated with the office properly. I got called from work for 0 absence 0 tardies. They couldn't find a reason to stop picking at my straight A child so we have her in Hoover city schools. They accepted her off of the note about my daughter's hair being distracting. If your child is white they will be fine. Any other color prepare for offensive notes and unfair treatment.

My grand daughter goes to Meadow Veiw elementary school. I have been nothing but impressed with the school. She loves it there and her younger sister is looking forward to attending there next year.
