This school does not recognize gifted children nor is it interested in working with and nurturing them. In order for your child to be successful, they must be average and conformist, which is disappointing for a school in this price range and one that claims to have differentiated instruction. Yes, they do some interesting activities, but the program is not worth the extra $. Heed the negative reviews--there are some issues at this school and you may not be satisfied, especially for the high cost.

My son is in college now -- and doing exceptionally well, thanks in large part to the excellent education he got as a Laguna Blanca student.

Laguna Blanca School, in its entirety, is a great school. The Lower School in particular, has nurtured my children both educationally and emotionally. The children are loved by the teachers and cared for in an age-appropriate manner. The education they are receiving is top-notch, advanced and still fun! There is no better learning environment in Santa Barbara. Come take a look!

Our three girls have attended Laguna since kindergarten. They have become inquisitive, self confident, happy learners who love the integrated curriculum that the school presents. The new head is very involved and has made many positive changes in just a few short months. The individualized education and personal attention each student receives makes Laguna a solid, worthwhile investment.

We came; we saw; we left. Never again would I ever send my child to that mediocre school.

Our three children attended the Laguna Blanca Lower School and they all were challenged (appropriately), nurtured and prepared for middle school academics and athletics. I would highly recommend this K-4 school experience to all parents who have inquisitive, creative, and friendly children.
