My son is thriving, growing, learning, adapting and evolving as a really well-rounded, kind, funny, smart, capable young adult. I consider this investment as THE best gift I can give him now, this "all hands on deck" learning (mental, physical and emotional) experience, that he'll continue to utilize as he becomes an adult and ventures out on his own in life.

- Submitted by other on February 24, 2015Our Granddaughters(8th & 9th grade) are experiencing the best of what middle school should be. SBMS offers not only a top notch education but experiences that the students will remember for a lifetime. Gathering at the beach for a sunrise swim before school you will notice not only current students, parents and faculty but families of graduated students. Bonding takes place not only for the students but the parents as well. The mountain biking, hiking, backpacking trips help to develop the students leadership skills and confidence. It is a perfect transition from elementary school to high school. Santa Barbara Middle School is a gem.

- Submitted by parent on April 14, 2010The culture at Santa Barbara Middle School supports academic and social growth. The trips that are woven into the curriculum have helped my son to gow tremendously, as a student and human being. I cannot say enough about the difference this school experience is making, especially in comparison to the stories I hear from friends whose chaildren attend large public junior high schools. This is a very special enviornment.
