The teachers are great and if you have not been in school for a day or two for various reasons they will stay for lunch to help. what i like about this school is that each month we go on a field trip to a place that we learned about. for example, we learned about Hindu people, culture and religion, and Mahatma Gandhi so then we went to a Hindu temple to see people worshiping different gods. After the Temple we also went to a Hindu area where their were Hindu stores. It was very cool! another interesting thing about my school is that we have what its called "intertwined learning" for example if we learn about the American revolution in Social Studies we will have a math problem about how many troupes do the Americans need to have the same amount as the British if the British have 100 and the Americans have 50. My school could improve by making a second building because it is small. we use the room that has a stage when you first walk in you go strait and passed t the doors as the cafeteria, Gym class, and Auditorium.

Renaissance is the best middle school in Montclair. Not only are the frequent field incredibly, but the teachers are outstanding!! Renaissance and the teachers encourages individuality. They constantly challenge kids, and make interesting lessons! My kids enjoy waking up in the morning to go to school! Renaissance is a unique school, where the students and the teachers are friends! Renaissance beliefs in project work instead of homework everyday, your child might end up having a lot of cool interesting projects instead of worksheets! Overall, Renaissance is a fantastic place! I am so glad that my family is part of the Renaissance family!

I was a student at this school a few years ago and absolutely loved it! the fact that the class is so small allowed me to make my closest and best friends. the teachers get you involved and are some of the best in the district. The arts program is not good, but if your child wishes to have a unique learning experience and have the class feel like a family, send them to Renaissance

this school is truly a gem in Montclair. The kids are motivated, excited and engaged about the school and, more importantly, learning. Principal is great, teachers are caring. My older nor went to mt. Hebron and had a less than mediocre experience, which did not prepare her for the high school. Not so with renaissance. My younger one will be prepared for the high school after renaissance. She loves it.
