This school changed my childs life. My child hated school and was always dreading it everyday, no matter what school we went to my kid could never seem to find a foothold in the community along with myself. But after transferring to oasis his whole demeanor changed around school he loves it and will beg me to stay when I pick him up. The teachers are extremely supportive and give great feedback, and the community is amazing the parents and nice and welcoming and there is many ways to get involved. And on top of all that my kid picked up two new languages he is only getting better at. If you are thinking of choosing a school to put your kid into be sure to check out this one!

Our son has been at Oasis for two years, and it's been an amazing environment. The head of school genuinely cares about the students and staff, all the teachers are caring and helpful, and the families are all very involved. The teachers are happy to be there, and love the students. The tuition is affordable for private school, and the staff created an IEP for my son that everyone follows. It's a small school, so unlike larger schools where possibly another teacher might not know your child's specific needs, every teacher at the school knows my son and his specific learning plan. My son is coming out of his shell, learning to read in three languages, build in makerspace, garden, and cook. The school values social-emotional learning and works very hard to resolve any conflicts between students individually. Our daughter will be attending next year as well, and we're grateful to the Oasis community for caring so much about our children.

My daughter is finishing up her kindergarten year at Oasis. They provide a unique opportunity to learn three languages in a fun environment while also being academically challenging. Their arts program is also fantastic. One of my favorite things about Oasis is that they are not sitting at a desk all day long. She is learning so much and also loving her school.

Oasis is a reasonably priced, private non-profit elementary school. My daughter started in the inaugural kinder class last year and is currently attending 1st grade at Oasis. We are thrilled with all aspects of the learning environment. Engaged teachers, individualized lesson plans, enrichment classes, social emotional development programs, and wonderful families. After 6 months in her kinder year, she was reading and writing Chinese! But the best part of the school is that she was having fun while learning. My goal was to find a school where it would grow my daughter's love of learning and curiosity. Oasis continues to do that. Not only is she exposed to different cultures and languages, she loves the hands on science, math, technology, cooking, gardening, yoga, martial arts, Spanish drama, art...just to name a few. The school tries to focus on the whole child. Just some examples of how my daughter (during her kinder year) was being taught: - hide and seek in Spanish outside courtyard (teacher hides items and calls out the name in Spanish while the students look for the items.- walking around the community with the English teacher and the students pointing out things that make up a community (fire house, police station, libraries, etc)- cooking Spanish and Chinese dishes, comparing and eating the dishes. Teachers are also speaking in their native tongue while cooking with the students- grocery shopping with the students in Mandarin (students each had an item to find which was written in Chinese- when the students were studying about the government, the school attempted to call the President, wrote the President and then the older students ran for an office with the whole student body voting- there is a kindness jar (if a student sees someone doing something nice, the student can draw or write it down and put it in the jar)If you are looking for a great education for your child, go tour Oasis!

My kids 1st and 4th grade are learning Mandarin, English and Spanish in a really fun way. The teachers know how to connect with them and give them individual learning plans. They move at the child's pace not at one pace that fits the middle. My kids want to learn science, math and social studies because they are doing hands on work and experiments which means they will actually retain more than doing rote memorization. Oasis gives a well rounded education, including art, PE (sports, yoga, Kung Fu), music, technology, gardening and cooking. They are building culturally relevant, environmentally concerned, self regulating and socially responsive students! My kids can't wait to tell me about school every day!
