Student Violence against other students. This school does not effectively deals with bullying. Students get to hit others with only 1 day suspension. This school does not effectively supports students with learning differences. Will not work with IEP students. Teachers at this school are Not effective, they do not ask students questions when they see they are struggling. I do not recommend this school.

I am truly grateful to Immaculate Conception School and all it has done for the growth and development of my daughter. My daughter has been a student here since 2015 and I am so proud to see the young lady she is becoming. My daughter is a happy student and succeeding academically. She is also in sports and other key clubs that the school offers. As a strong leader, our principal has brought forth many new programs to IC like STEM and empowerment classes for our kids. I know that our principal always acts in the best interest of our students and strives to continue to bring great success to Immaculate Conception School. Being part of the IC School family motivates me to be involved because I enjoy the IC community and all that it stands for. I am definitely a proud parent of IC. Lastly, I look forward to my little one starting TK in the fall. The TK/ K teachers a hard-working team who are experienced and provide an outstanding program.

IC school rocks! My son started 4yrs ago and is now headed off to third grade. my daughter just completed her first school year in TK. I am so blessed to call this school our second home and the faculty and staff our extended family. My children are excelling in their studies thanks to the dedication, quality care and attention they receive from their teachers. The fundamentals in Catholic faith and social conduct that are instilled at home are supported by this school. I have so much love for this school because I have seen the positive footprints each teacher has left in my children's lives.IC school teaches and promotes God's love not only through their words but with their actions. We have been blessed to know and grow with Mrs. Papadopulos (TK), Miss. Cardona (K), Mrs. Avitia (1st), Mrs. Mohr/Mrs. Montaño (2nd), Mrs. Rojas (Asst. Prinicpal) and Mrs. Lovano (Principal). Started here in 2015 and can't wait to come back in the Fall!

My experience has been very positive. I have seen a commitment of growth from the faculty and staff. I have experienced support and personal care for my family. I am excited about the summer STEM program for our daughters and proud that our school was chosen to get physical improvements from a foundation grant. This school has been a blessing and I am happy to be part of the Immaculate Conception family.

Enrolling and having both of my daughters attend this school was a complete waste of TIME & MONEY. The principal ignores and avoids any issues you may encounter and endure; regardless of the listed responsibilities of her position. My daughter (Kindergarten) was being bullied by another girl repeatedly and relentlessly; as this issue was originally addressed to the aggressors parents, whom exhibited apathy. The teachers joined the apathy as the Principal simply couldn't be bothered with concern or a warranted response. I've contacted the Archdiocese as this egregious and inhumane experience is currently in their hands. I've since, removed my children from this school because I no longer wanted my daughters to be subjected to repetitive and gut wrenching BULLYING. Additionally, I am not the only parent that has removed their children based on the Principal's lack of PRINCIPLE; it's possible she has the unfortunate combination of being untrustworthy and incompetent. Furthermore, the educational value and criteria is appallingly low and behind respectable standards (especially from an institution that has the audacity to charge for such an atrocity; a blatant disservice to our youth). This discovery was made once my daughters began attending their new school. Furthermore, this discovery was verified by the new teachers as they confirmed the current criteria from Immaculate Conception is virtually a grade-level behind. I was embarrassed... mostly for the lack of educational development I once entrusted to be bestowed upon my daughters. In conclusion, the concept and investment into the standards, expectations and practices of a Private Catholic School are just completely lost; which is completely ironic, as they have made it clear; teachers are just a part of a run-out-the-clock protocol for a paycheck. As this school is under going remodel in preparation for the 2019-2020 school year, expect to pay for all those renovations. It's a shame, they aren't renovating their personnel. My complaints are also being forwarded to the City Councilman, so he may be aware of the virtual scam this school is practicing.I feel you can make a better decision for your children. I know, I did.

Mrs Centeno is a great teacher but the school is not so great. I hope it can be stricter on bullying cause it’s not.

Immaculate Conception school has been a blessing for our family. We joined the school soon after Mrs. Lovano became principal. From an academic perspective, our daughter showed huge improvements within the first month of starting her kindergarten year and continues to do so more than a year later! In addition and as important, our daughter's level of self- confidence has continued to flourish beautifully as the teachers and staff succeed at providing a rich, positive, and welcoming environment. As mentioned, this school has been an absolute blessing in many respects.

Though the school has been through many various changes, it has endured it all. The small enrollment makes it easier for teachers to focus on the needs of students individually. This also means the families are all familiar with each other like a friendly community. My children have grown up with the same friends since kindergarten. I am certain the friends they make at this school will last a lifetime, just as the memories made at this school will. I hope and pray this school keeps its doors open for many years to come.

As an 8 year veteran parent i have seen, and been through alot in this school. I will say this, with God on our side, a new principal, and Deacon this school is making a comeback. Now that we have survived the failed merger, and said our goodbyes to the negativity, we are ready to make this school a Catholic School of Excellence. The teachers are all great, and the principal listens to all parental concerns, and wishes for their school. With a strong PTO Board, and a huge parent volunteer-base this years Taste Around the World, and Monte Carlo Night was a great success. The Grizzly Games did good for being the first year. These three core fundraisers will be the "Big Three" for 2014-15 School Year. I love this school, the teachers, principal, and parents.

Love this school! Principal is great! Mr mc mains is very involved. Teachers are credentialed and go on retreats to improve teaching techniques. Parent involvement is good-you may not know their name but everyone smiles and days hi. My kids love this school-they can't wait to go to see their friends everyday. My 4th grader just came back from a awesome Sacramento field trip where she panned for gold and went to the Capitol. Private school can be expensive but this school works with everyone. Mr mc mains truly believes that all children should have a catholic education regardless of your income level. School has diversity and is well rounded. They have PE, art, and music!

I am not too sure why this school is promoting something they dont have. Although, this school claims to have offered certain programs they in fact did not. Our children know the truth and I suggest that any family looking for a good education try another school. Every other school offers so much more. The principal is fake and the obligations/ fundraisers are excessive. Ask the former parents of ICA why they are not returning. Poor leadership and so disappointed.

ICA- Immaculate Conception Annunciation This school should CLOSE it's doors. With poor leadership of Principal this school get worse every year. This school does not offer what they say they do. Dishonesty is a tool that ICA uses on a daily basis. ICA is so desperate for higher enrollment. Be smart parents and take time to ask good questions. for example: How many full time teachers have you hireds for next year? How many families have left? ICA can improve by building a good strong faculty & staff that will actually stay and especially by hiring a principal that can fulfill their duties. I liked the way some parents worked together to hold a fundraiser or event that benefitted our children. Beware of ICA Silver-Tongues!

I love ICA School! This school is small in enrollment but mighty in their efforts. The teachers and administration demonstrate Catholic Identity within the school. ICA offers many programs such as Spanish, Meet the Masters, Mathletics, Choir, Sacramental programs, and much more. The new pastor Fr. Matthew Munoz is a gift to this community. I am a proud parent of ICA School and I highly recommend this school to everyone who loves having their children in a faith based and spiritual environment.

ICA Catholic School is a very good school for our children. The teachers, principal, priests and the entire staff are very helpful, they are always there to assist and lend a hand. Our three children are very happy. For parents like us, we have peace of mind that they are in good hands. Parents are very dedicated, we never had a problem everytime one of our children need a ride, someone always volunteer to be the driver. It's like a big family, we may never know all their names, but we are familiar with all of them. The school have some problems too, like any other school, but the good thing is everybody is willing to help and to make it work for the better for the sake of our children. This is our 6 years and we intend to continue until they finish. The school has been through a lot, but the past year was so great, thanks to all the hard working teachers, the hands-on priests and principal, who is also the zumba instructor for parents, soon-to-be spanish teacher as part of extra curricular actvities, aside from dancing, music etc. And next school year we will welcome the volunteers from Carmelite sisters to enhance the after school care activities, we cannot ask for more. thanks
