My school is amazing and I can't say enough about how the school has been a wonderful thing for my son. I couldn't imagine them going anywhere else. I know that there are those who question the direction that the school is going, but I see it only getting better as it gets bigger.

This school is improving all the time. This year the academic, and exploratory classes where very solid and enriching. They also have implemented a better dress code policy for this next school year. Their basketball team placed in state and the other athletic programs are equally as good. Because of their State Certification my child was able to take driver's education at this school. We are very pleased with the school overall! Also want to say that my students feel safe at this school and LOVE being able to LIVE their faith in the open!

Love that the Word of God can be taught in my child's school. However, the Godly message is narrow and His authority is contained within the school walls. An emphasis on rules and policies rather than student independence and fruitful expression. A good place to send your child who is in need of structure and needs correction. The communication is dreadful. A complicated online grading system that is over-relied upon to ensure student grades are monitored, yet chaotically entered and monitored by the school. Christian beliefs are waved with a big flag as a entitlement to poor planning and empowerment to suppress the student body. No sense of what school growth is. Could be so much bigger and better but unfortunately is restricted and confused as Christian values to explain narrow and disorganized operation. Maybe things will change?

This school has the spirit but lacks control. The rules are tight and when one thing goes wrong with a few students the whole body is punished. The school also lacks communication skills. A message will be found out by the office yet not get out to the student body until the day before an event. I would not recommend this school to those more, "free spirited" Christians.

We have had a great experience these middle school years. The school mission includes equiping these kids to impact their communities thru Christ. I love that the teachers themselves have a relationship with their Creator and they allow Gods love to flow thru them. The students are part of the parent teacher conferences and lead the meetings - Cool! Students are a part of the discussion. Having international students allows our kids to interact with other cultures and languages. So glad for the enrichment opportunities they have with the field trips, JA, interact clubs, speakers, community service hours, etc. The school leadership recognizes the importance of writing skills, especially as it relates to college entry, so they have curriculum that helps the students to develop that skill set. Improvement ideas are to post the full school handbook on the website, even if password entry only; hold a quarterly "round table" with principal - invite 8-10 parents to join the Princ for a 1 hour Q&A - at off site location like the HyVee club room or Moline library; offer Comm Serv hour credit at the school, like with trash emptying, grading papers, organizing books, tutoring.

I can say that I love this school! I have taught a number of places and have never felt as much a part of a family as I do here. This school has a wonderful student body and a wonderful teaching staff. The administration is very supportive of their teachers and do their best with the resources available to help teachers create enriching environments for all students.

QCCS offers a reasonable tuition rate for a classical Christian Education. In reading other reviews, I just have to say, respect is taught and reinforced in the home. I don't have any problem with my son being respectful in our family, toward school staff or other students. As far as learning, my high school student understands that he is responsible for his learning. His writing has improved since switching to QCCS two years ago from another area Christian school. I have two adult children who attended and graduated from a different Christian school in the area and QCCS offers as a good a classical Christian education as I have been able to find in the area (three children in 4 Christian schools over 30 + years in the QC area and one in the Chicago area.)

I think that the school is just amazing with how hard they work to make sure all the students have an equal footing and fair treatment. No one child is treated better than any others. I hope to continue with the school through my children for years to come. The only things I find sad is that some parents complain about lacking things in the school but aren't willing to step up and help out where it is needed.

Quad City Christian has proven to be a wonderful influence on my grandson. He always attended public school, this school has the one on one for each student you find in larger schools. The Administration and faculty knows each child personally. They exhibit high standards of academics and character to each class and in return nuture the students to do the same. There is always help available when needed during and after school, so a child does not have to flounder. Because the school is small, students are more of a family setting without the normal little cliques. Dress codes are enforced to teach the students modesty and self worth. I am so impressed with their committment level to help our children to become the best they can beyond the academics. They have an outstanding student exchange program that allows for the whold school family to reach out to foriegn students. The school has taught my grandson how to have humility and good sportsmanship in sports. Something he needed to learn very badly. It would benefit the school to be able to increase the sports area. The music and arts program can stand up to any comparison,. I would tell you to consider this school.

This is an awesome school! QCCS is a non-denominational Christian school where all subjects are taught with a Scriptural world view. The school is State accredited and the test scores reflect the quality of the education. If you want to prepare your children for higher education, there is no finer choice than QCCS!

This school has excellent teachers, a great middle school program and super academic christian based curriculum. I enrolled my 2 kids grade 6 and 8 this past fall and they are very satisfied here.

I went from a small public school to QCCS and it's probably the best thing I could have done for my education I love this school. With little drama and small class sizes I actually learn. Plus the school is like a family, if you're having bad day there will always be someone to talk to. Everyone has friends, there are no outcasts or loners here. I love this school and would recommend sending your child here for all of their high school years.

I would not suggest sending your child to Quad Cities Christian School. If you are wanting your child to get ahead of the game and have a better education than public schools, I would not recommend sending them here. The teachers have hardly any curriculum and work at a very slow pace, slower than public schools, and get of subject easily. If you are looking to send your child to a school with strong Christian values, I would suggest you send them somewhere else. The student body is very disrespectful to not only others but the teachers especially. If you are looking to send your child to an alternative school, I would not suggest QCCS. Teachers are not very patient and are not trained to handle special needs students or students with discipline issues. I would not recommend Quad Cities Christian School.

I have 4 children who graduated from QCCS. The staff are so dedicated to the kids and work with them on a one-on-one basis. The curriculum is excellent, the facility is excellent. When you have kids in this school, it is like a family. Everyone pulls together and parent involvement is outstanding. I high recommend this school to parents who are looking for a great place for their child to learn, involved in a christian setting and have extra curricular activities to give them a well rounded education. Another plus the is the interaction with foreign exchange students. Excellent opportunity to learn about their backgrounds, and their way of life!

QCCS is one of the best things I have ever experienced in my life. I went to a college prep school throughout my middle school years and the beginning of high school, and transferred for my last years of high school. I transferred because I wanted to be educated in a Christian community, where love and Faith was present daily. QCCS is like a big family, and I am so glad that I transferred there for the last years of high school, but wish that I would have always gone there. They provide you with many opportunities that will come into play later on in life. If you want a school that not only challenges you academically but spiritually as well, then QCCS is the perfect fit.

I have a child that graduated in 2010 and I LOVE this school. The teachers and all of the staff loved my tennager and provided instruction that can ONLY be received at a good Christian School. Upon graduation we had several great scholarships to good universities both near and far. This school not olny prepared our teen academically but they are ready to serve God in all things. I understand that some may not get the same experience, but they probably didn't give the effort required to succeed. A school can only provide the vehicle, it is up to the student as to how they will drive it. I would send any kid here that DESIRES a quality Christian Education.

I had a student at QCCS. Unlike the others that have posted, we did not experience these things. In fact, he had to really work to recover the academics that he lost (or was behind in) when he transferred to another school. The lack of respect of the students towards the teachers or others in authority was horrifying!
