There are a lot of parent/volunteer involvement. The teachers are excellent! The leadership is quite good! The school is not overcrowded. It sits outside of city limits like a small jewel. I’m very happy we found this place, and so are my children. It’s not too often children are excited to go to school— my kids tell me they love going to school! The school is small enough that everyone knows each other! I love it!!

It was amazing because if there is a problem, the staff would handle it very quickly. Plus all the staff at the school are very nice

My youngest started here as a kinder, my oldest as a second grader. I have only every had one issue with a first grade teacher who ended up leaving the school. Other than that the environment is wonderful, very friendly and close knit school. The teachers are always eager to help when your student is struggling. They have the best jog-a-thon i believe i have ever seen. This school is very student oriented and works hard to help every student achieve to the very best of their abilities. We accidentally came here after being overflowed from Mary Lou and then chose to stay for the long haul. Way to go Stanislaus!

Adding the academy program was a great improvement for the students. Young children are naturally curious and the academy enhancement is a great way to expose them to Art, Science, and Technology in a fun way. The staff is great. The proactiveness in communication varies by teacher, but that's typical in any environment. The teachers have so much to teach in limited amounts of time, so it's not unreasonable that there be a delay at times. Nonetheless, if you need more proactiveness; ask and you'll receive it. Worse case, involve the principal early on. The principal is fantastic. She's a great listener and enforces rules consistently and fairly. She's always willing to share ideas to help the children be successful. She also goes out of her way to ensure the students are happy and always makes the time to ask how they are doing. The school has a strong parent support system. You can always count on parents (working & non-working) making the time to help. A great educational experience is definitely the #1 priority here.

The principal at this school is absolutely wonderful. She really cares about the students, is fair and diplomatic, and I can't imagine better. The teachers I'd give 1-5 stars. To my child's current 5th grade teacher, I give 1 star. This teacher is inexperienced, visibly plays favorites, gives poor instructions, and intimidates my child. His 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade teachers were the best, 4-5 stars easily. Parent involvement is great. Facilities are good overall, even though old.
