Having a child that attended Hills from pre-k thru 4tb grade it is clear there are a few great teachers that care about all of their students. Most do not and only care about the children who's parents eithee work for or gove to the school district. If you do not have a history, teach or have money do not send your children here. It is a small village school that is set way behind anyway! This is a place that does not live forward or play fair! All children are not put first here. A few have integrity but most do not!

My daughter's teacher was Mrs. Roach. She is an excellent teacher, my daughter absolutely loved her which isn't an easy feat, she doesn't take to just anyone. My daughter attended Steubenville city Schools previously and it was not a pleasant experience at all. There really aren't any positives to speak off during her time at SCS. Hills on the other hand has many many positives to speak of. I've read in other reviews that problems weren't addressed in a timely manner and that bullying wasn't addressed and can only say that wasn't the case for us. If there was an issue, it was taken care of right away but there weren't many any issues to speak of. The school takes care of bullying right away. The only con I would point out is that the Elementary kids are riding the bus with the Jr High kids. The content of Jr High kids conversations is not what an elementary student should hear. I do want to give credit to the bus drivers, they do their very best to keep things G rated. I've witnesses older kids being reprimanded for their dialogue but the drivers can't catch everything. It's almost like setting them up for failure. Teens will be teens.
