Teachers will yell at children for talking I can understand if you tell them 1 or 2 times and they don’t become quiet but they yell the first time. One specific 5th grade teacher gives negatives for no reason my niece was talking with everyone else in class and she got in trouble and a few other students seem like the teacher picks and chooses to give negatives.

It has only been one day at this school and so far it is not off to a good start. I do hope that over time it gets better.

The weekly updates are not detailed enough, for example, what time are parents supposed to eat Thanksgiving lunch wt their child on Tuesday? I can't seem 2 find it NEwhere & the grammar & punctuation is sumtimes confusing BC my child is possibly a little ADHD & never knows what 2 tell us ab what's going on at school BC she doesn't pay attention like she shud so we have 2 everything n detail & we just moved here from Arkansas n April & I am the step-mother & have only been involved n her life for 9 months now & have no other children of my own & never have & am disabled & her mother died 2 yrs ago & her dad wks alot & he doesn't retain everything himself therefore I have no clue sumtimes what's going on!

I went to this school in the 50's and I loved it. My grandchild went there 2 years ago and it has certainly changed. I was so disappointed in the teachers at the school. Their discipline was awful. My grandchild had a hard time there and now is doing so much better. I wish my grandchild could have gone to the school I went to, much much better.
