My son attended Fairview from K4 through 8th grade, and had an excellent experience, from involved teachers to all specials (art, music, gym and library) provided throughout his time there. Fairview helped him become the curious, well-rounded high school student he is today, fostering a love of piano that he continues to enjoy. Many of the staff who guided him throughout those years are still at Fairview, so if the teachers are remaining, you know this school has something going for it. The school also enjoys support from its neighborhood in the form of neighbors working there, and sending their children there. I count this as another plus.

I am a student at this school and it is a pretty good school overall. The teachers are very nice and they help motivate many kids. Many teachers also help with homework assignments, and kids mental health when they notice something is wrong. The counselors at this school are great, they do the best they can to help students. The programs at this school are also very good. The teachers do have to take more steps to help bullying. Some teachers do, but some could honestly care less. The office are sometimes harsh to parents calling, and they rush them, but as a student, they're obviously nicer to them. This school definitely is safe though. They make sure we have enough fire drills, drills incase someone breaks in, tornado drills, etc. so we definitely are prepared in case one happens in school. The teaching here is pretty well done. Most teachers are strict and that's really good, but some can be low-key with it. Although some teachers can be bad, students do very well in exceeding. In my overall experience of 7 years there and opinion, this school is a good school and I do recommend it to many kids.

Since my kids have attended Fairview for all their school years, I have a sentimental, soft spot for the place. It's not the school it was when they started in K4. There are a number of great teachers working there, and I hope they remain there for many more years.

Teachers seem to have their "favorites". I don't recommend this school at all. That's why I took my child out

I love Fairview School! My son goes there. He's in 1st Grade. The teachers are all VERY helpful and dedicated and friendly. I highly recommend it. My son is Gifted and Talented and the teachers and other staff have gone way above and beyond making sure that he's challenged and happy. And all of the extra programs and activities that are available make it special. And the fact that it goes through 8th grade is really a plus! We toured a few other schools before deciding on Fairview. It just has this really happy, caring vibe about it. I just really can't say enough good things about it.

My two daughters attend Fairview and love it there. The Fairview staff are very caring and experienced. I appreciate the different experiences my kids have had at Fairview. One of my daughters went on a class trip to New York City last year. My 5th grader's class attended Starbase for 6 weeks and has a "walking classroom" where the kids listen to audio while they walk around the neighborhood for exercise. My girls have been involved in the cheerleading, Girl Scouts and forensics programs and there are a lot of other activities so all kids can find something to be involved in.

Fairview School is an amazing school! Students and their individualized needs are first and foremost. We strive to achieve the best learning environment for every student that enters the building. Parents and Volunteers are important components to the quality education that is available and are always welcome.

I am fortunate to be a teacher at Fairview Charter School in Milwaukee. My school provides a superior education to all students. We educate over 600 students utilizing the latest in technology, skill specific grouping and interactive lessons. The staff is inserviced monthly to provide the best teaching practices for the students. We are fortunate to have active parents who support our educational goals and provide PTA events for the families. As the school chant says; "Fairview students are best by far. Fairview students are superstars."

Fairview school is a model of how a high performing school should be functioning. The staff works very diligently to meet the needs of all of our students, and are very successful at developing positive relationships which is the foundation of a great learning experience. These relationships bear fruit as the children work in the classrooms and throughout the building. The full breath of Art, Music, and Physical Education brings out the best in our students and allows them to showcase their many talents. Our before and after school camp is one of the largest in Milwaukee, and arguably the best implemented and administered one as well. There is a number of our students who are of special needs, and those students and all students are accepted into the community allowing our school to be the type of school all parents expect and should receive for their children. We work everyday to make our students reach their potential and go beyond even their wildest dreams.

My daughter has been attending this school since the1st grade. She started spending the majority of the time in special needs small groups, now as a 7th grader she is in only one special needs group and spens the majority of her time in regular education class. If your child has special needs this is the school for you.

Safe and orderly. A place with high expectations and high acahievment. This school has a real "family" feel to it. Families and teachers alike have a stake in Fairview's success as evidenced by the large number of staff members, both past and present, who sent their own children to Fairview.
