Millbrook has been a godsend for my son. He was academically and athletically relatively confident before he got there. But the personal attention he got in math from Ms. Clizbe and Mr. Turner really helped him see that he could be a genuinely strong math student. Mr. Okolie, the new math teacher and soccer coach, could see athletic possiblities in my son that previous couches could not see. Finally, my son has made amazing friends and feels fantastically prepared for college. The 90-minute ride into NYC means we see him frequently, and he keeps in touch with his old high school pals. Millbrook, thank you!

This school does not like women or moms. I had my family ripped apart by the new headmaster and the school CFO actually represented my son against me in an unfounded case my ex husband created. Why a school gets involved in a contentious divorce is beyond. Now I have ZERO communication with my children. My father and sister went here and I was hoping to continue the tradition. Now my sons are miraculously enrolled with no paperwork, no money and the school does not communicate at all.

Ripped my family apart. The school CFO represented my son against me ( read Parental Alienation) in Duchess County. Then the new Headmaster took my two children into the school with no paperwork. Now the school has legal custody of my two minor children. My father and sister went to the school before the new headmaster took control. Why the school got involved in my divorce is beyond.

Really a fantastically supportive environment. The academics are rigorous without being punishing. The teachers there are low-key and also stimulating. The school really steps up with its values. Students live those values and carry them on into their future world. My daughter felt over-prepared for college.

My daughter has been at Millbrook for 2 years and is thriving. Academics, community service and after school activities have been just right for her. A truly great school!

Great school. My son had thrived at Millbrook. There is a heavy homework load which is not always neccessary. The zoo is wonderful. The classes are small and lively. The children are asked to think and come up with questions as well as answers.
