My children have attended Milford High School for 15 years. Three have graduated there and gone on to have academic success in college. This school has excellent teachers and administrators. They put a tremendous emphasis on individualized instruction that is customized to the student. The class sizes are very small. The athletics are excellent with coaches who make a huge effort to teach the athletes to be successful not only in the game but in life. Discipline is very good and handled in a reasonable and consistent manner. I've been very happy with our experience here.

The school has been doing a fantastic job of teaching students not only in the core subjects but also in core values. Parents who have issues with the school are usually those whose child has been in trouble and the parent does not like the way things were handled. The school now has a handle on discipline, has recruited some great teachers, and has placed the focus and well as the money, on student education. The school does not accept student transfers so you will have to live in the district in order to attend. Because of its size, students are able to participate in several different areas. If you are looking for a family atmosphere with a focus on student learning, Milford is the place to be.
