Although, I am fairly certain this won't do any good, maybe you will come across it and it will help. I don't know of an alternative school that would be any better in MISD which is why we are still at this school. To keep it short, if your child DOES NOT struggle socially, emotionally, or academically then this is a great school. If so, I would not recommend it.

We moved to Midland a few years ago and three of our kids go here. Its a great school, the teachers are awesome. The school struggles like any midland school with high turnover and large class sizes, but Fannin is probably one of the best elementary schools in the city.

The AP is unprofessional. As an upper middle class school, our children should be performing much higher than they do.

After moving from Illinois all the way to Texas, we settled down in Midland. Since Fannin was closest, we decided to try it. I have to say we have had a really good experience here but my only 'complaint' is there is almost no parent involvement.

We have been a Fannin family for many years now. The very first time we walked into the building I knew it was the plade for my children. We have enjoyed the staff and have great teachers each year. The PTA not only works hard for these students but helps in the community!!! There is no other school like Fannin and we love it!
