REM Learning Center was established in 1982. My 26 year old niece attended this magnificent school as a kid and my toddler attended from 2-4 years of age. Needless to say, this school was recommended through family and I was amazed at how well it turned out to be. My daughter was previously pulled out of a smaller setting Early Learning Center where the “teachers” were adolescents with no substantial experience. At 1.5 years of age my daughter began to bite due to lack of speech at the time and needing to express herself. I began to notice she was being reprimanded on a daily basis and no solutions/suggestions were being offered. My daughter looked sad! Until the day I brought her in to REM and turned our frowns into radiant smiles! At REM my daughter BLOSSOMED! She felt right at home instantly. The love, dedication, concentrated attention, education, stimulation and encouragement was exactly what my daughter needed! Her speech all of a sudden improved, and her biting episodes disappeared. At REM they report on the children’s progress through a series of evaluations which offer the parents informative ways of helping your child where needed. Our family is relocating out of the state, otherwise our daughter would have stayed a part of the REM family through first grade. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts REM, for truly making a remarkable difference through LOVE, PLAY and EDUCATION. Forever grateful!

I can honestly say that I am extremely happy with REM Learning Center. My daughter has thrived in this school. Has learned so much; all of the teachers and staff are amazing. My daughter is always excited and happy when it comes time to go to school. Never has she cried or not wanted to stay. In addition now, with this COVID 19 situation the school is taking ALL measurements to ensure our children are safe. We are truly lucky to have found this school. Thank YOU REM.

I was recommended this school by a good friend. We moved from VA to FL and I was so nervous about finding a good school for my son (whose been with me at home from birth till 2.) The word good is an understatement. This school is GREAT! First time my son is in anyone else's care and I couldn't be happier! He's learning so much! So happy his speech has progressed tremendously in the little time he has been attending! Highly recommend this school to anyone who cares about quality education and care!

REM learning center has been an extraordinary place of academic and social growth for my two children. They have both attended the last 3 years and I have full confidence in the teaching staff, management, and overall learning environment. The teachers have heavy tenure and my children have grown accustomed to their dedication and hard work, day in and day out. I highly recommend REM, as it is a premier learning center.

I am very particular about where I put my child for school. Since he started in that school he is more literate and articulate. I commend the teachers in that school. They are patient and understanding of children's needs , they are HARD working and there is always more than one in the class room. meaning your child will always get the care he or she needs. At times these teachers have to face difficulties with the children and the PARENTS but they always manage to keep their cool and carry themselves with patience and grace. I amextremely happy with this school and their carriculum! I also love getting a newsletter and pictures of my child's progression in my email every Friday ! When your child loves waking up and going to school, and when Dr. Ryan is the most popular guy in your house, you KNOW their doing something right. P.s . The school owners are there every day and they are always so warm and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about the school and their teachers

Definetly a great school, REM has been an incredible experience for my three grandchildren. The school offers a well organize schedule and many developmentally appropriate and fun activities . Great communication between Teachers and parents, through weekly newsletters and emails. Loving and caring staff and administration.

My daugther has been going to this school for almost a year, like any other parent I want my child to have the best education but I also want her to have fun while doing it. The R.E.M. Learning Center hast the most compassionate, caring, loving, dedicated staff you will ever meet. My daugther started from "0", she had no daycare/School experience, she had always been at home with me. The way this school welcomed my child will forever be in my heart! My child is like any other 4 year old kid active, playful, self spoken and the teachers have the patience to teach them over and over with love and dedication. I am sorry if there is anything wrong with a school that doesn't doesn't tolerate bad behavior!!!!!!!!!!! Love the R.E.M. Learning Center and will recommended it to everyone!

I have 2 kids and one is in her last year before going to Kindergarten. My youngest still has over 3 more years before she gets to Kinder And unless something crazy happens she will spend her pre-k years at REM as well. My oldest started at 18 months and my youngest started at 12 months. I have yet to have either of my kids in a classroom that doesn't have the most caring and kind teachers. I've been so pleased with not only how much they genuinely care about these kids. It how much effort they put into teaching them and preparing them for what's to come. My oldest still goes to old classrooms to visit her past teachers and just give them hugs. The staff are kind, always present and willing to listen to you if you have a question or concern. There are a few small things I could nitpick (maybe better or healthier food choices, the supply fees are a little steep considering tuition spikes quite a bit every year) but it's easily overlooked because the fact that my kids are so well taken care of is the most important thing in my eyes. I would (and have) recommended this school numerous times!

Excellent school, quality education, respect, kindness and good lunch for your little ones. Had my 2 year old here for 8 months but relocated to Broward county and had to moved him. I am still trying to find a school as good as this one in my new location and within my budget.

Excellent school, maybe just comparable to some Montessori centers but the methology they use is more structured, they still combine different approaches. My child went there for pre-k and she started Kinder reading whole books and having a firm base for addition, substraction, meassurement, calendar, clock times and some science. The infrastructure is very good with plenty of room. By comparing schools for my second child we did not find anyone better but to leave both in this school the bill will rise close to $15k/year, I don't consider it expensive but I took the risk of a good public charter. The Morenos family are great people and very respected in the comunity. They are always there and are very aproachable. Special kudos for Dr. Ryan Moreno for figuring out creative ways to atract the kids into science and technology. He makes dinasours for the classes, flies with batteries and LED's like eyes and is always researching new methologies to share with the directors, his parents. This family is very well prepare. Why not 5 starts? ... I consider that in order to comply with the many certifications they have to restrict the academic curriculum, a fair rate will be 4.5 starts.

This school is extremely good and truly assures that its students come out well prepared. My son has attended this school since he was 16 months old and is now 4. His teachers to date have been wonderful and highly prepared in child education. This learning center is just that, a learning center, not just a daycare where they do nothing but play all day and get ignored because of the teacher to child ratio. I think it is wonderful to have the school so involved and interested in my child's development. Early on they pointed out that my child would need speech therapy in order to help him better develop his vocabulary and enunciation. I then did my research on which therapy center would be appropriate since they do not recommend any centers. With this, I can understand how some parents become insulted or bothered by someone telling them this about their child but the way I looked at it is even if they were wrong, it was still an additional learning tool for my child. This is a family run school that treats you and your children as family too. They care about the learning outcome of the children and they truly integrate the parent into the learning and development of the child.

We visited many schools and in the end we chose REM. Both of our children, 4 year and 15 month old boys could not be happier. We have piece of mind and know they are being treated with love. Our 4 year old son has autism. When we met with Mr. & Mrs. Moreno and their staff, they helped us set-up a program for him. It is now his third school year with them and he has accomplished more than we ever thought possible. He has truly come a long way. And we owe a big part of his success to REM. Our boys come home happy, telling us all that they learned. We love that our 15 month boy is participating in projects. He has already learned a great deal. The staff is both friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Mrs. Rita Soto, she is always available and willing to help anyway she can. In our time at REM we have come to consider them part of our family, thank you Mr. & Mrs. Moreno, Jackie, Ryan and our favorite Eric!

My son attended this school from June 2011-until June 2012. Although his teacher was very sweet, they are very quick to "refer" children for testing. In other words, they love to have students receive "therapy" for so called issues. My son does have some speech issues and is very strong willed. However, he is very bright and knew much more than the average 4yr. old. After repeated phone calls from their "special education" specialist- I did some investigating and found that the owners sit on the board of directors at the very same place where they were referring my child to. I have no doubt that my insurance would've been charged(as I was told) or the state would pay for his "needed services." As their wallets are fattened, children who deviate from their "norm" are labeled as special needs. My son is now at the Creatvie Learning Center (coincidentally, like the previous reviewer) and doing well. Is he perfect? No, but definitely not "high functioning" (autistic) as suggested by the director. I'm really tired of the push for "early intervention." It's misleading, stressful, and has been twisted into a money making scheme. REM is right in the middle of it.
