This school has PLC for grades K-1. This school doesn’t offer support for kids that have IEP’s ESE teacher is constantly pushing the narrative of medicating your child to the point where they harass you. Does not offer any extra curricular activities for the younger kids in the PLC. Everything seems to be focused on the main campus which is grade 2 through 5

It is a racist and classist school. They group children into classes according to their "interests", for example all immigrants are separated so that they do not mix with the Americans, those who live near the school in another class, the poorest who live further away in a different class.

The schools itself is not bad but would be great if they would offer more clubs and sports like some other elementary schools for the students to participate . The communication is ok depending on the teacher you get at the school. Some teachers don’t like getting emails from parents while other they don’t mind and work with the parents . Furthermore , the amount of work left is a pretty decent amount and nothing that overwhelms the student either . When it comes to the schools activities is ok . Lastly another thing that would be great for the school to have will be pals assign to each grade level to communicate directly with the parents from that class when it comes to events , anything that teacher might need etc . Instead of waiting to get a flyer or an email or a message from the teacher . I do recommend JDG . Best of luck !

The teachers at the school are amazing, compassionate and caring. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the new principal. Even the morale has changed across the board. You can actually feel it. The current new Principal is never around. Events, Shows or Checking upon teachers is something she is never around for. She is the talk at every school event as parents comment and snicker at how she is never there to represent her students nor her teachers. The teachers are what make this school amazing. Administration, not so much. She has a lot of brushing up to do very quickly or something needs to be done before the school drops a level. I gave the school 2 stars because I had to include the principle. If I were only reviewing the teachers I'd give them a 10!

My children are in Kindergarten this year. I really love this school . The teacher Ms. Rifkin is an excellent teacher and the overall organization of this school is amazing. My kids are an out of area transfer and I always knew this was the school I wanted them to go to and I'm very happy with my choice.

The new principal Mr Lopez is excellent. The teachers have excellent communication and really care about my kids. I still have one in 4th grade, but my eldest who graduated 2 years ago was very well prepared for the challenge of the Middle School gifted magnet program he is in now.

My grandchildren attend this school pre-K and 1st grade. I must say that the teachers are wonderful, especially Ms. Glassmer, Kinder and Ms. Cruz, 1st grade They take pride in their children achieving to their full capacity. In general the environment is friendly and welcoming and everyone from the person in charge of the office to the lady that prepares the food all make the children want to be in school and to learn!

I think this is an excellent school my daughter has gotten outstanding results I do feel there should be more activities for after school programs, about the ex- Principal, if people feel discriminated because the Principal enforces the rules that everyone must follow then I disagree on letting her go, but I do not agree on anyone screaming at kids. I'm Hispanic and I expect all parents and students to follow the rules we cannot change what has gotten great results this is an A+ school.
