Dr. Royle tries very hard to make parents feel welcome. The school nurse is a bit over protective. The library is well stocked with stories for students to motivate reading just one more book. Can't speak for the higher grades but in the lower grades teachers love their kids. Class size needs to be smaller so each child can have some one on one time with the teacher. If your child is smart they are given independence but perhaps not enough attention. Unfortunately some children are not equipped to go to school and that may be why the school h a s declined. The classrooms show incredible effort and passion for teaching. This rating is for the staff not the students. If your child is a caterpillar they can help transform them into a beautiful butterfly.

This school is okay. The teachers from K-3rd are wonderful and help your child progress through school. However 4th grade teachers could use some etiquette lessons, or just plain simple people lessons. The main coach is great, but the assistant coach has very little patience with children. Someone needs to help with this.
