We love SSE. We started coming here not because it was highly recommended by a family member, their children are alumni’s. We are so glad we came, I recommend it to anyone looking for a good school, where teachers and faculty members have pride and provide a safe learning environment for students.

SSE has gone above and beyond when it comes to learning. The staff excel in individual needs of students and helps work with them on comfort and plans to help the children better themselves and their education. They are zero tolerance for bullying which is extremely important nowadays! The paraprofessionals go above and beyond and everyone seems to know everyone in the school which I absolutely love. It helps my children feel like a family within the school with the staff and they are comfortable talking to anyone there which I love! The teachers keep me informed on what’s going on with my children whether it’s struggling with learning, or behavioral and even if they just seem off and checking in to make sure everything’s ok. SSE and the staff of SSE are wonderful!

We love SSE. Dr Moses works hard to learn your name and be involved. I see him walking around the campus and in classrooms every time I go into the school. The teachers have been amazing and communicative. The school has received the A+ award again this year and it is well deserved. I love that SSE instills good values. From what I have experienced, they have done a good job in protecting the students against bullying by educating them. Whenever I have had a question or concern, the teachers have taken time to help me and my children. The thought of changing schools makes me so sad. There is a sense of community here at SSE that would be difficult to leave. The school loves parent volunteers and I love that they want me, as a parent, to be in the school often. SSE did their best during the COVID shut downs and I witnessed the hard work and dedication the teachers put into making things as smooth as they possibly could during that time. This is truly a terrific school. I would recommend this school to anyone.

Principal is a C- leader and his leadership is forcing the good teachers to leave. It’s a shame, I really wanted to love this school. Worst Gilbert school in the district.

This is our first year at this school, 6th in the district. Dr. Moses is great and there is an amazing sense of community in this school. All three of my children receive attention on the gifted end of the spectrum and have great teachers. My oldest enjoys ALP with Mrs Norton and orchestra with Mr Ng. We're happy here.

Just thought parents would like to know the zip code on this page is in correct it is 85209 not 85009. My daughter has been attending this school for this school year so far and they are really working with her and being very patience. Principal and teachers really are involved with my child learning.

This school will ot even allow you to see a classroom before sending your student there. If they don't let you see a classroom with a scheduled appointment, there is something wrong! They're hiding something! I sent my kids to Noah Webster instead. You can call and schedule a tour wheneve you want! They took us into several classrooms so we could see what the kids would be learning from K-6. They also took us into the different levels of each grade as they are ability grouped! Far better school and the same distance from our house :)

The school is a great school which teaches great foundation skills. There are diligent about testing for weakness adn strengths adn have TONS of programs to fit each childs special needs. I would agree that the level of homework and expectations are higher than other schools. Havign moved from another district into this school, I was taken aback at how much they expect out of thier children here, but that is not a bad thing. It is something that some children struggle with however. The Parent enveolvement is outstanding here, and the teachers are always available, sometime you have to reach out to them, but I have always found them helpful and friendly. The Kids LOVE the principle and talk about him all the time at home. If i had any complaints, it is the amount of homework and the amount of fundraisers this school does.. I would ratehr hand them over a $500 check every year than deal with all the cookie dough/wrapping paper/food/book etc... fundraisers they do.
