This is the worst school in the East Valley. The school is completely chaotic. There is no routine no structure no procedures no consequences no discipline. This is not a result of being an inner-city school nearby Carson Middle School in Mesa has a similar demographic and yet those students have a predictable routine and clear objectives.I have taught all over the East Valley and South Central Phoenix and this is by far the worst school outside of the prison Juvenile detention system in which I have taught. This school is not that much better than juvenile prison. This is a failing school a bad class is a teacher problem and a bad school is an administration problem. They need to fire the principal and then they wont be the only D or F school in the City of Mesa.

I am truly surprised this school is still open. The principal in charge is one of the worst you will interact with, the teachers don't even like being there, the fights are out of control, the security officer there is inappripriate with female students, and the consistently get bad Letter Grades (unless the principal goes in and begs to be a C school). The turnover rate in that school is insane. Change in leadership is desperatly needed. The vice principal got up and quit a few months into school, they lose whole departments.... pathetic idea of a school.

This is literally the worst school my children have ever attended. They've been to several, unfortunately, but this is by FAR the worst. The teachers don't do their jobs, they don't grade assignments. They don't pay attention to even see your child in their classes and mark them absent, when the child can give me a rundown of the entire class beginning to end. The kids are HORRIFIC. No structure, no discipline. They run around screaming and swearing with no reprimanding at all. My kids are not hispanic, and as much as I hate to say it, they do experience quite a bit of racism at this school, as they are the minority. Again, nothing done by staff. Look on tiktok and instagram. You'll see pages upon pages of fighting, drama, bullying. It's just NOT a good school. We moved here from Gilbert, where they were in a great school, but it wasn't an option to keep them there, sadly. If you want your kids to have a good school experience and education, do NOT send them to this school. I'm pulling them out ASAP.

I was very disappointed in the way I was treated. She heard only one side of the story and I never got to tell mine. I feel like it was their loss.

My grandson attended Keno as well as my daughter, I like the school and I believe they teach the materials necessary to be successful in high school.

I had to intervene on behalf of an employee of mine who's daughter seems to have been caught between a lack of communication between two school districts. I spoke to a " jackie" in attendance ,and the school's principal . I have to say the conversation was not pleasant with the school's principal. What is more unfortunate is they forgot to hang up after our conversation and some of the more choice words that were used probably don't appear in any Jr High textbooks. I have worked in the NYC BOE and I am an attorney, so Im fairly thick skinned, but this introduction to a school's admin was less than stellar.
