    This is a very hard working school that uses all the resources they have to make sure students can achieve. The school fights to stay open while surrounded by schools that are in the bottom 5%. Westside is not. It is a bright spot in Frayser.

    As a teacher at Westside I really appreciate the school pride that we try and instill in the students and the work we do on the weekends with our kids and after school. Westside is a school of believers. The students believe they can achieve and work hard to be excellent.

    Terrible school the principal nor staff have any respect for the children or the parents. Totally disrespectful an very childish excuses for adults. Principal keeps up mess an stay ducking an dodging consequences,a waste of time sending your child here. They can't teach properly because they put to much energy into keeping up problems. It was an excellent school until this year when they made the BIG MISTAKE of putting something called Ms.Adams as a principal in the building,WORST thing they have done in the 3years I've been dealing with them.A TOTAL DISGRACE OF A SCHOOL.
