Hands down, PDS is the BEST boys school in Memphis. The academics are challenging and the boys are taught to learn like boys. They attend pe AND recess EVERY DAY! PDS offers many classes from amazing academics, to stellar sports, to band, and much much more! My son loves PDS and we are so thankful that he is part of the PDS family!

Our son started pre-school at Presbyterian Day School in 2009. He is now in 5th grade and we are still amazed everyday at how much he loves attending school. The faculty and administration at PDS not only teach and mentor boys, but honestly love and care about them, as well. We are so thankful for the top-notch Christian education he has received over the past eight years.

Our son has been a student at PDS for going on 8 years and he just loves it! The Accelerated Reader program excels in getting boys excited about reading and the Bible classes are an incredible addition to our son's spiritual growth. Our son's fourth grade teacher wrote multiple page notes of encouragement on each test and often told the boys that their homework was to go home and get outside. This school understands the emotional, physical, and educational needs of boys. Highly recommend!

My son attended PDS Sr-K-6th grade. The academics are top notch! We loved the Christian environment and how the teachers really care about their students. They fully prepared my son for 7th grade. There is a since of excellence at the school but created in a fun learning environment for boys. Is it perfect? No! But it is a GREAT school, that is doing GREAT things!! I would recommend PDS to anyone looking for a school geared towards teaching boys, it has a nurturing environment but as they get older the boys are expected to be more responsible and independent. "Building Boys, Making Men" is their motto and they do just that.

Superb environment for a student to learn in!! This is our son second year at Presbyterian Day School (PDS) and we love the school! I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a top-notch, high-quality education for their son! Our son has learned a tremendous amount and has established amazing friendships that will last a lifetime. At drop-off, it is a challenge to stop our son from racing from the car into school to see his teachers and friends. PDS instills the core values of courage, integrity, and compassion in each boy. The faculty and staff of PDS strive for excellence in every capacity, and the attention to detail is amazing. We know that this school will profoundly shape our son's life in a positive way and can't recommend it enough to prospective families!!
